And the winner IS….. 02.27.2012

The Necklace! It was all about the neck for us last night, some hits and certainly some misses but we loved bringing back attention to those sexy collar bones. Michelle Williams and Penelope Cruz nailed the looked and were sensational. We loved the graduated diamonds that delicately sparkled, a perfect accessory to their gown. Michelle even added a brooch to her dress which completed her look flawlessly.

Unfortunately there were some bad choices made by some big celeb stylists and Natalie Portman’s necklace looked like it was choking her, it was way too big for the red carpet and Cameron Diaz’s necklace was mismatched for her fashionable gown, she needed something more fresh and modern.

We always love anything Gwyneth does but she was a bit too underrated for our taste. She could have used some larger earrings to complete her chic white dress, her large cuff was an excellent choice but she went too light near her face, we needed to see some more sparkle.

Now the season is over and it is bitter sweet but the celebs certainly made some nice risks this year and overall we give it an A. Till next year!

Rocking The G’s 02.06.2012

First off congrats to the Giants, what a game! Ever wonder what those championship rings are worth and who makes them? Well that’s what was on our mind while watching the game so we did a little research. The NFL pays up to $5,000.00 per ring, with up to 150 rings per team. If the rings are over the $5,000 limit, the team owners must make up the difference. Recent rings have been appraised in excess of $20,000, with some valued at $45,000. but manufacturers keep this information confidential of course but past rings have sold at auction for some steep prices.  Up to 2004 all rings were made by Jostens, the same company your own class ring or sports ring might have come from – which we found interesting. There is no word on the street yet on who is making this years but we can’t wait to see what it will look like so stay tuned…
